Camp Programs for Children

Our Summer Camp Programs for Children are structured around fun and artistic projects designed to teach children new skills while striving to enhance creative thinking. The projects are geared towards children of various ages and cover many artistic mediums. Individual camp descriptions are found below...but first, a few general notes about our camp programs...

Program Durations/How Long Is Each Camp Day Within A Program: Our camp programs are usually one week in duration (unless otherwise noted) and camp days are 2 hours each day. Exact dates for camps are included in the camp listing and will be updated after the holiday season usually.

Reserving Space for Your Camper(s): Reservations and deposits are required to reserve a space in each of the camps. We reserve the right to cancel any camp if sign ups are inadequate for that camp program.

Recommended Ages: Our recommended ages for each camp will be found with the camp program description. The recommended ages are designed to help parents find a suitable camp for their children and they are included as a guideline based on materials that will be used in the camp or skill sets that would be helpful for the child to have prior to camp. If your child does not fit into the exact age recommendation, please feel free to inquire with us anyway and we'll discuss your child's best options with you.

Some Camper Notes:

1- Campers should wear old clothing or a smock over their clothes. We work with washable, non-toxic materials but some stains are more stubborn than others!

2-All campers should bring a small snack and drink with them for break time.

3- Campers will only be released to a recognizable parent or guardian unless prior arrangements have been made with us about pick up.

4-Please be timely when picking up your child and let us know if you are running behind.

5- As with all projects, perfection is not the goal-enjoying the creative process is!

Thanks to all our campers and their parents for a successful 2006 camp program. We will be holding a variety of camps next summer with different themes...stay tuned for details...

SHUTTERBUG CAMP-PHOTO SUBMISSIONS from DIGITAL PHOTO CAMP 2007

Our shutterbug campers did a great job in camp and learned lots of valuable tips for being better photographers. Shown below are some of the submissions for the end of camp photo contest. These photos evolved from tips and practice exercises they learned during camp combined with their own creativity. And yes, each of these photos was taken by a child under th age of 12. Winners will be awarded a showing of their photo in our gallery as well as a gift certificate. All campers get one of their submissions professionally matted and ready for framing.

We are now offering a regular weekly digital photography class for kids ages 7 to 13. Any child who participates in at least 3 classes in a given quarter is eligible to enter our quarterly digital photography contest which we will begin holding this fall.
